Hi All,
Just wanted to thank everyone for the help choosing a tractor. I received a new DK35 HST from Rick & Amy Wallace on Friday. It's a nice machine, but much bigger than my Ford 8n. With the advice of everyone here and Rick, I find I really like the HST. It was actually fun mowing my fields, not having to shift constantly. Unfortunately, I also found that I can no longer duck below all the branches. Well, I can, but the ROPS doesn't want to bend . Guess I have a lot of trimming to do. It also does a much nicer job on my 2200 ft of road. It pulls my 4 ft box blade much easier than the ford 8n, allowing me to move the dirt/rocks without spinning wheels. Finally, I appreciate the patience Wallace tractor had with me (especially Amy). They did a bang-up job teaching me about the tractor, and getting it to me very quickly, even with the additional rear remote). Sandtiger |

Congrats and Welcome to the Pack!
With that DK35, I bet you could upgrade to at least a 5ft and maybe even a 6ft boxblade for faster work and to cover your tracks. It sounds like you got a great dealer.

Congrats!!
Did the same thing this year, well other than going with Gear, however that was my need. I was just moving a fallen tree yesterday wondering how many days it would have taken to cut and roll all of that wood if it were not for my Kioti CK35! I really should get a mower for it, because now my 'riding mower' seems like an insult every time I pass the Kioti. hmmm to flail or not to flail....

The new SE models are good looking units. Problem is my current DK 35 is working to darn good to trade/sell it off.
