I have a couple of questions regarding add-on hydraulics:
The local dealer quoted $347.00 for the second remote kit from KIOTI and about $575.00 for two cylinders (top-link and tilt) with all hoses and fittings.

1.) Are the prices fair? The Kit seems ok but the two cylinders seem high.

2.) What is involved in installing the kit? An hour or two or is it a major PITA?

Thanks for the input!

I would like to do the same to my 2003 or 04, DK45. I just called my dealer he says there is no longer a kit but i would have to buy the individual parts. He says he will work up a price and get back with me.

I'd like to respond by making a comparison. For the similar New Holland, The price of the remote kit is around $525. Your $347 is a very good price in my opinion. I'm also not sure about Kioti, but the installation of remotes on a New Holland ( I have three on my TC45D.) are very easy for the average mechanically inclined person. I'll bet someone here has done it and will give you specific advice on your tractor.

Your price of two cylinders and the hoses and fittings at $575 is also a very good price, but I think you may be able to beat the price and surely the quality of your TnT system if you purchase all those components from CCM. The DPOCVs on the CCM cylinders will make a superior TnT system.

Thanks for the replies - they are much appreciated.
Has anyone purchased cylinders from CCM for this set-up on a DK 45 and if so, which type (size) did you use and how did it work?
Does one need to weld eyelets on the ends or are they available ready to install?
Also, CCM offers different couplings, which are the correct ones for the KIOTI?
Thanks again for the help (hydraulics are not my strong suit)

1/2" pioneer fittings for the hose coupler.
The cylinders should come with them on it.
The hydraulic kit is still available from Kioti part#322013 rear Aux.Hydraulic (converts single to double)
The job can be done fairly easy but with a little time and some mechanical backround.

I bought the Kioti kit and the cylinders from my local dealer at the price stated.
Looks very good and heavy duty, all the hoses, fittings and extensions for the cylinders were installed and they even put it on a tractor to make sure the cylinders were the correct size and had no leaks before I picked them up = customer service!
The Kioti carton included everything except for instructions. I believe I can figure out how to install the valve, but a little guidance goes a long way. I assume the right rear tire has to come off to get to the small access panel in the fender?
Maybe Mr. Wallace can shed some light on this or possibly even e-mail or post the instructions?
Thanks, BigGuy

Hi
Whenever we add rear remotes we just remove the seatand the plate it is mounted on. This gives a wide open (top view) of your valve assembly. The work involved varies from tractor to tractor, but it is not too complicated. Your dealer should be able to get you a diagram. If not, let one of the dealersknow and we will get one to you.

Let me know if you need more than this?

Hi Dave and Rick,
thanks for the replies. I printed the diagram, that should be all I need. Good tip with removing the seat, I need to work on that anyway (guess they are not made for big guys).
I'll let you know how I made out when I am done.

Hello,
Well, I've managed to install the valve kit over the weekend. Not too difficult, however getting the threaded stems out was a project. Removing the access panel on the inside of the right rear fender helped to get a socket onto the nuts, but these stems were pretty tight. (I put two nuts on the stems and looked them togheter, this allowed me to back the stems out.)
Everything seems tight and works fine, thanks again for the help.
