My current tractor is a 45HP Kubota, which I use primarily for TLB work. I have recently acquired a long gravel driveway, however, and need a road-maintenance machine. Unfortunately, it is a PITA process to remove the backhoe and set up the 3pt hitch from my big tractor, so I'm thinking of getting a smaller machine to primarily run 3pt implements, like york rake and grading blade. I came across a 400-hour LB1914 with loader for what seems like a good price. How wide is the rear end on these things? Is a 6' blade big enough when it's angled? I'd like to hear some opinions of the machine, pros and cons, and I'd like opinions on what fair value is for one.

Thanks much - JayC

That tractor with loader should retail for around $6000-7000. You can change the width of the rear tire setup. It should normally handle a 6 ft blade angled ok, as well as the other implements you mentioned. Ken Sweet
