I've been reading on this site for quite a while now, learning all I can. I really appreciate this forum it has helped me a lot. I was going back and forth between a 50 horse TYM with hydro trans, a Kubota L3800, and the Kioti ds4110, and the ds4510hs.
As title states I settled on the ds 4510hs. Both the TYM and Kubota dealers were 90 miles away while the Kioti dealer was only 15 miles away. I would have bought the TYM if the guy would have tried to sell it a little bit harder. I understand most people don't like a pushy salesman. But I prefer to be sold. I'm not sure the Kubota was gonna cut it. I have 22 1/2 acres of rock. I have to build a road or two, retrench an irrigation ditch, and do alot of leveling and rock picking. The Kubota weighed 1000lbs. less, had 10 fewer horsepower, and the FEL was a 1000lbs weaker at break out force, and maximum lift. The Kubota also cost a few thousand more. I got the ds4510hs with a 6' box blade and a 6' rock rake and tooth bar for $22,000. It is my first tractor and I'm pretty excited, I can't wait to get out there and start moving dirt!
