Been looking at a 2008 DK 35 with 1000 hrs and a 2006 CK 30 with 1800 hrs. Both in good condition and well maintained with dealer records as proof. Both have loaders and R4 tires.
Will be using for snow blowing and working in the bush cutting firewood. The CK is $3000 less than the DK.
Question.......Is 1800 hrs way too much for a CK......anybody have a CK with this many hrs and if so, what should I expect to have to replace?......Thanks in advance

Look good and hard at the loader lift capacity. I was not too happy with my CK35's lift cap of only 1155lbs. I think You'll find the DK has a better lift.

My opinion. The DK hands down.

I wouldn't shy away from a CK30 with 1800 hrs. with dealer maintenance records on it, but the DK35 is 800 hrs. less and 2 years newer. The DK is more tractor to start with plus more loader capacity. For the extra $3000 it would be worth it provided overall condition of both is the same.

I have a 2004 CK30hst with 800 hours. I did look and probably would have bought a DK35 but considering my wife would use it and doesn't like a clutch, the CK30hst was delivered. With about half the hours, about 300lbs more in fel lift, 30hp vs actually 38hp in the DK, (higher pto hp for snowblowing), slightly larger frame tractor, I'd consider the DK like the others mentioned but give them both a good looking over and a test drive. My CK30hst hasn't needed anything but routine service and an ignition switch. DK35vince might be around 2000hours on his DK35 and I believe pretty trouble free also.

I' m finding that the DK 35''s are rare to come up for sale. Been looking for an SE HST 09-10. Haven't had much luck. When I do see them they either look like the have been used/abused or they have so many attachments that it is to expensive. I would take a serious look at the DK35 if I were you.
