Junkman...with all do respect.....the above answer was purely in jest and humor responding Gerard. No, I do not have a crystal ball, , it was just a lighthearted answer to his. In fact.....the thread was the typical back and forth, but then came around to an understanding...and some lighthearted humor at the end. And, it has made for some interesting reading as well.
To the sparring partners....Gerad, and Dewave....no harm no foul, but to suggest someone leave?? Please.....relax, breathe, enjoy. |

Ahh, it was very entertaining, I too enjoy a heated debate and Muhammad and his hitmen obviously decided to let us work it out on our own. Good decision. No harm, no foul ?????!!!!!!!!!! Never even crossed my mind . Opinionated opinions are a part of TBN, as everybody has one . To converse like that on occasion (breaks up the monotony); and that is my opinion LOL . Hats off to those who let this thread go as it did and now it's time I go and visit the Kubota threads! I'm not pointing this at anybody, but what Gerard said reminded me of something I heard a long time ago. Opinions are like rear ends. Everyone has one. Some stink more than others. |

I had the same problem several years ago when I purchased my New holland. I finally decided to purchase from the dealer that is 30 miles away instead of 100 miles away. My wife has never let me live it down. As soon as I needed help with my tractor, the dealer I bought from didn't have the time of day for me. (major sale was over) However the dealer I didn't purchase from really stepped up to the pump so to speak. He and his company did everything they could do to help me. My advise would be to go with whomever you think, and can verify, will answer your questions and satisfy your needs after the sale. Now I'm in a quandry because I'm looking at a Kabota from the second dealer(Helpful one) and a Kioti from a dealer in my parents home town. Both have excellent reputations and references........and there both 100 miles away in oposite directions. It would be a slam dunk for the Kabota(helpful dealer above) but I really like the Kioti's. Besides it's my wifes tractor this time. Just my two cents, by really it was a several thousand dollar lesson. |

Wow! I guess I really hit a nerve with my original post. I want to thank all those who responded. Your input is very helpful. To clear up some issues. I have, indeed, done a lot of research prior to my post. I have looked at a lot of tractors and read many posts. I have come to the conclusion that both the Kubota and the Kioti are wonderful machines. I had put the Kioti ahead of the Kubota BX23 based primarily on my own specific needs (I think I need a little heavier machine and also the higher ground clearance). Since I also found the Kubota to be an excellant machine, I was seriously considering it mainly because of the distance (70 miles) between me and my nearest Kioti dealer. I never intended to asked to be sold on either brand. My main point was my concern about dealer support from that distance and whether that would/should preclude purhcasing the Kioti.
Again, thanks to all who offered thier comments. |
