I have been lurking for over a month and have read posts until I am blue (orange) in the face. I have decided that the Kioti ck20 is just what I want/need. My second choice is a Kubota BX23. I would buy the Kioti this afternoon, if the dealer were not so far away. I live in the Seattle area and the nearest Kioti dealer and the one I would purchase from is seventy miles away. I have this nagging feeling that if I got this tractor and anything went wrong with it, I would be kind of stuck. On the other hand, the Kubota dealer is ten minutes from me. What to do? I don't see it as that big a deal. My dealer is almost 100 miles away and it hasn't been a problem.. You would think in New England being the states are the smallest in the union this wouldn't happen , but it does.. Like someone else just said, go orange:-))

Telling you to buy orange doesn't seem to answer your question since both tractors are orange. Have you spoken with the Kioti dealer to find out if he will transport the CK20 for you if you have warranty problems? My dealer, who is 35 miles away, delivers within 100 miles. He has picked up my tractor twice, once for installing the backhoe, and the second time to fix some minor hydraulic leaks. Since I have a CK20HST, I'm a littlel prejudiced toward it, and I think you'd be much happier with it's higher lift capacities, and extra weight. I have had NO problems with the tractor in 150 hours. I also looked at the BX23 15 minutes down the road.
My dealer is 45 miles away. Why? I bought Kioti! Absolutely no comparison between the two (Subcut vs. Cut). Talk to the dealer and I'm sure he will work with you on transportation. After all, he wants your business. G |

If you want the Kioti, then get it. You won't be going to the dealer every day. Plenty of tractor owners are further away from their dealers then 70 miles, and they own major brands!!

I would not let 70 miles stop me if a Kioti is what you want. I have a truck and trailer so that isn't an issue for me.

I went 90 miles for mine when there is one only 10 miles away. Big price difference the reason. I'll give the closer dealer my small item business - filters, parts, etc....

I think you should have a closer look at the two tractors. They are not really comparable. The Kioti is bigger, stronger and heavier. It's probably a little more expensive, but it's a lot more tractor.
