Default Used DK35...29 hours...13,500

I came across a used DK35 with a loader with 29 hours on it for $13,500. Is this in the ballpark? Not sure what a new one can be had for. Looked brand new...no wear at all...used for mowing with a 6 foot finish mower. He also has a 3054 model that is 3-4 years old for 8500 with a loader...250 hours nice shape. Thanks for any input.

Here is a place that supposedly gives you used tractor values.

Three years ago a new DK35 was $15,400 with R4's and loader. The price now depends on how much warrantee is left and if it is transferable. The DK35 is my favorite tractor in this size of any color.

Of the two models you mention, I would go for the DK35 for the extra power, and better ergonomics. The LK3054 has been updated with more room in the operator's area.
Neither of the prices are bad, the DK35 price is pretty good if all looks as though the 20 hours are actual.
Prices will be going up October 1 by between 2% and 5% with the largest increase being on the DK65 which will get a new 4 cyl. Perkins instead of the current 3 cyl. I'm not sure what that will mean for the new prices on either of these models, but check out that DK35 really well. If you can, get a quote on the exact same model new, with full warranty and all the same equipment. It may be that you'll want to go the extra to have a brand new machine with all the warranty. Keep in mind that if the tractor was originally bought before January, 2003, the warranty is not transferable. John

Or use that knowledge to reduce the price of the used Machine.

KiotiJohn, does this mean the DK65 is getting more horses, or is it just going to a normally-aspirated 4 cyl with the same HP?

As far as I know at this time, the same HP, just 4 cyl. instead of the current 3 cyl. Perkins. John
