Kiota CK25
My cooler developed a major leak @ 55 hours. I took the CK25 to Group Tractor the Koiti dealer who repaired it. My costs included $100 for getting the tractor to the dealer.
At 205 hours the replaced hydralic became wet with hydraulic oil. I contacted the dealer who told me to contact Kioti for a replacement. After many hours of negoation I have arranged to have the hydraulic cooler replaced with a promise from Kioti that if the part is in fact leaking they will pay the costs of getting my tractor to the Group dealer.
I plan to take the tractor on the 1st week of June and will keep you informed of what happens.
I have been very satisfied with my CK25 but this issue has me wondering if I should have bought another brand.

Obiviously it is a problem with substandard contracted parts. Not really a Kioti deffect, but part of their tractor all the same. Are you out of warranty? At least they are working with you on the problem. More than some companies are willing to do if you are out of warranty.

Do a search for past postings on this issue. I think there are more Ck20s with the problem than our size. My CK30 cooler was leaking when I baught it. The previous owner thought it was the oil filter that was leaking and it took me a while to figure out where it was coming from. There is an issue with the rigid lines going into the cooler creating torque stresses on the cooler when the tractor flexes. The original dealer wanted me to haul my tractor over 100 miles to him for the warranty work on my dime. That dog won't hunt. I found a more customer friendly dealer who wishes to remain anonymous. They shipped me a replacement cooler and updated flexable hoses. It took an hour or two to change. I worked very slow and careful when I replaced the cooler. No leaks. Life is good. The tractor is great. It is a very easy do-it-yourself repair. I made sure there was no hydraulic preasure in the system when I started. My only remaining issue is the loader arm torque tube. I may make another run at buying the updated arms next year. Hopefully, at a reduced cost since I really don't like the "fix" and every time I look at the tractor my eyes go to that darn torque tube. There also is that clanking sound at the rear axle when I let out the clutch (it's an hst). I'll see if it goes away when I change all the hydraulic fluids and filters in about 25 hours. It has 370 something on it now.

Brad, my hose line is the same as your before line change. I believe I could do the replacement as you did but I will give the dealer another chance. I will call the more flexable line to his attention. Thanks again for the info.

Kioti Daedong heard you and fixed it, at least on the new CK30 HSTs. They now have the flex lines to the cooler. Since they know it was a prob, your dealer should fix it and try to get reimbursed fm the manf'r.

Who did you buy your tractor from Rex? The North Sound area is somewhat under represented by Kioti dealers. I probably shouldn't point that out so when I retire in 8 years I can open a dealership up myself.

From Runaway Tractor*, owner Darrel Miller, in Grants Pass Oregon (no sales tx ). You opening a dealership here would be an xclnt idea, it looks like a money-maker Brad.

*Dealership is on his farm, there are crated Kiotis and attachments all over the place. I met him at a horse show and he had many friends thanking him for selling them their tractors.
