Friends ck25 broke in two

Ok Fellows, Need some help.

A friends new (225 hours) ck25 drive line has broken. the frame is the only thing holding the backhoe together....i have searched and found lots of threads on cracking loader arms and such but not on drive line breaks. Might any of you have information for us?

Was it a 3PT aftermarket backhoe or a factory unit with a subframe?

If it was a 3PT model, the guys at the parts counter will love your friend. He will be selling him $4000 worth of parts and labor.

If it was factory/subframe, you will probably be covered with little or no money out of pocket.

Did you mean to say that the backhoe frame was the only thing holding the tractor together? The cracking loader is bad but nothing compared to cracking that tractor in half. I would be very interested to see the caranage and to hear the reason so that I can learn what not to do.

I would still like to know what is breaking and if this is a problem with backhoes, tractors, or operators.
I have some customers that are the poster childs for distruction to Kioti tractors but never see one broke in half...
Are these guys running 3 pt backhoes? Are they doing their preventance maintance?
Keeping in mind the preventance maintance is not just checking and changing oils..

What happened to the original poster? Are there anymore details? Two posts from this guy and it was his friend's machine?? Something isn't right here.... maybe I'm wrong. I've seen this on threads for other brands and the original guy never comes back on with additional info.

If indeed this broken machine does exist, I would buy it if the owner wanted to get rid of it. I need a good project and a bucket/backhoe.
