tracing back the leak on the backhoe I came to the spooler valve for the left to right swing of the backhoe.
Apparently the guy I bought it from didn't fully disclose, a defect in design allows you to overextend the valve which cuts the O ring. He had the O rings replaced and the valve itself at close to$900 under Kioti. Kioti should retrofit. Jim |

Well Rick Wallace did help out, seems that this tractor did have the pump replace, something that I asked the seller about specifically. TBNers responded to me when I went to look at it and I questioned him on it. The backhoe valve is the newest one apparently and Mr Wallace is researching it for me.
Apparently he excels at customer service. Once again I want to publically thank him. Jim |

Jim sorry I missed your post yesterday but I was out putting another smile on a customers face with his new Kioti.
Today I was in the shop all day. Well at least you can now use your loader to move all that snow. Thanks for the kind words. ![]()

Thought I would give people an update. It seems my tractor was a frequent visitor to Kioti dealerships. The backhoe valve has had service several times and the hydro pump in the tractor has been replaced. Answers between four different dealerships regarding the backhoe have been "too much travel in the stick pinching the orings, too much hydro pressure blowing out the Orings. The important thing is Kioti is taking some ownership of this apperently and I do appreciate that. Rick Wallace has helped me through some hurdles and Upper Valley Tractor is stepping up to the plate as well.
The previous owner is @#$%^ but isn't fraud over a $1000 a felony??? oh well, I appreciate the support. JoelD, please pm me Jim |

The first thing you must check is to make sure your loader valve has 3 hoses going to it. If it has only 2 hoses going to it, then you will need a hose kit that will change your loader valve's 2 hose to a 3 hose with zero pressure return. Then after you do that, you should not have any issues with the backhoe valve again because the hose kit will also reroute your backhoe's hoses for a zero pressure return.

Well, the circles start again.
Today I found out I had to contact Kioti directly and get a case number esstablished with a Mr Dan Carter at Kioti. I spoke to Dan. Dan Carter sent me back to the dealer who will be servicing the lk3054xs. The dealer will get the case number established. I have in writing a statement from another well respected dealer that Kioti would stand behind its product but I am not getting warm and fuzzies about this. From numerous dealers I have had statements that particularly on the lk3054 there is an issue with the 2376 backhoe leaking and that it has updates and tweaks needed. This tractor was serviced several times for this issue previously and it still leaks. I will keep you informed. Jim |

The past is the past. Give the current servicing dealer a chance. The guy that sold it to you unloaded his headache on you. Vent your anger his way. Contact a lawyer, most consultations are free.

Hey Jim how did you like dealing with upper valley tractor in enfield? Might be looking into a tractor there. Pros/Cons with them? do they service the tractors there? Thanks and I hope your tractor is A.O.K. now....

So far Upper Valley has been great, he has been VERY honest with me. He knows I am not pleased but has approached me in a very respectful way. I appreciate it greatly.
My frustration is this tractor has been worked on for this issue several times previously. The previous owner will be dealt with possibly later. Other have come forward as far away as Florida and California stating this is a known problem. Make it a recall. In the auto world they would. Come on Kioti own up to it. (I have the emails from the other dealers). Jim |
