The injector pump is at the front of the engine, on the right side. You will see the 3 fuel lines coming out of the top of it.
You don't need to do anything with the injection pump. I only mentioned it as a reference for where the "click" would come from. The fuel shutoff solenoid is near the injection pump. All you want to do for now is listen for the click as you turn the key on and off so we can tell whether the fuel solenoid is energizing. Once we determine that, we can narrow down why you aren't getting fuel. |

I bought new for the warranty and to not have to deal with many issues.
Call the dealer first thing Monday. Someone may be willing to walk you through a checklist. Otherwise, the repair will be free but you may have to pay for the mechanic's travel time. One last thing before you call. Most manuals have a troubleshooting section. Use that as a checklist and go through it item by item.

Just to be sure whether the solenoid is working, it would be helpful to know what year the tractor is to be sure we are talking about the right shut-off system. There are 2 different types of shut-off systems on the CK tractors.

OK, couple of questions,
Check for the manual fuel shut-off. If you have the old "power-off" system, the manual shutoff would be on the cowl, under the key switch. It would look like a choke knob that you pull. If you don't have the manual fuel shut-off knob, it is the power on system, and you should here the click when you turn the key on and off. |

Only switch is for the emergency flashers. I must have the newer system. I did notice an anodized looking switch directly above the fuel filter that says "on and off" but it is on.

Maybe we are overthinking this a little bit.
It worked the last time you used it. You shut it down just by turning off the ignition. Your last message indicated that you did not "hear" anything when you turned the key. Did you get the indicator lights for the glow plugs? If so, now log were they on? From your first message I would wonder if the glow plugs actually activated. You turning with no "firing" may indicate no glow plug activation. Have you checked the fuses? |
