Deputy (I'd use Mark but not certain if Mark or Marc, there's two of you out there). I'd seriously consider adding the bolt on cutting edge to your bucket to stiffen it up some more, that way you'd be less likely to bend your cutting edge, all that rock work could possibly bend your cutting edge. Also, I've welded up a piece of C-Channel to the top of my bucket where I welded a chain grab hook, helps to hold in really big rocks, also stiffens up the bucket. I've posted with pics elsewhere in the forum.

Glad you are using the machine and have had good weather to enjoy.

Have fun.

Joel

Thanks Joel.....I'll do that. It's "Marc" - BTW. Thanks for recognizing the alternative spelling.

I'll see what Rick's got on hand for edges. The Spirit loader on my Jinma is slightly bowed from rock handling. My neighbor is a professional welder who has beefed up my box blade with 1/2" steel gussets and cross-memnbers, and then welded the Jinma lift arms that snapped because the box blade won't anymore! He has all sorts of iron around, and I was eyeballing some box beam that he had, which would do well on the top edge.

12 hours on her now....still rock removal duty. I've pulled and/or buried about 30 boulders ranging from a couple hundred pounds to two tons. I am really impressed with the machine. I have some pics that I'll pst later of a monster that I buried. I though I bit off more than I could chew, but ....no prob! Like we say in the Bronx....."Ba-Da-Bing!"

Old farmer Fuller even cam up to see me in action, and he said it doesn't even compare to Kubotas. Wow! Coming from him, that's a body slam for Kubota!!
