Oil & Fuel Filter cross reference / help

Looking for a little help for cross referenceing filters. I have a NAPA/Kubota dealer 1 minute down the road, but we own a "new to us" 2005 CK30 GEAR tractor, and love it. Now time to do a little maintence. Want to change out the filters and did some searching on line and noticed people are using a NAPA/WIX filters and seem to be happy. Is there anything to worry about with a change from the Kioti brand? Looking at prices they seem cheaper than the Kioti, and also nearest Kioti is a nice long ride away. I know I can order on line but was thinking might be good to have a local dealer for the filters. Looking for all for the CK30 Gear.

So if anyone has some numbers would be great or even some input. I'd appreciate it a ton...

Also are the manuals (parts/workshop) worth it for the maintence?

I use Kioti filters on my CK30hst. I just order from Wallace and keep an extra set on the shelf. There have been past posts with some cross numbers. Some use aftermarket and others stick to Kioti. I'm sure your napa dealer can make the cross.
Routine maintenance doesn't need the mauals but they sure do help with everything else. I used the workshop manual to diagnose my faulty fuel sending unit by knowing the resistance numbers. The parts manual gives full diagrams so you know what's there. If you plan on keeping it and want to do your own repairs if the time comes, then they're worth having for the cost.

Just bought an engine oil filter. Napa # 1626, this is for my 2008 CK35 HST.

My DK 35 takes the same filters. I have used them several times and they work fine.

Just bought an engine oil filter. Napa # 1626, this is for my 2008 CK35 HST.

You don't want to use the 1626. Its a smaller filter and it has a lower bypass pressure then the 1324 which is the correct filter. The 1626 has an 8-11 psi bypass and the 1324 has a 16 psi bypass.

Has any one noticed Napa oils filters are differnet numbers for oil for Mousefield and DK35vince, one has DK 35 the other CK 35, and original request was for a CK 30, do they all use same filter?

1324 is the correct number. Follow the link to the part detail and view all applications. The filter fits DK's and CK's.

Carquest also has the same filters only they start with 85 but use the same final 3 numbers. For oil it would be 85324.

I got the 1626 number from my dealer. I will look at the 1324. I have 195 hours on the CK35 and will be doing the oil/ filter in the next week or two. Thanks SunnyJim for pointing out the better filter to use. :thumbsup:

Thanks. I was thinking it might be cheaper to get the NAPA filters, but looks like Wallace sells them reasonable priced. Any suggestions on Hydraulic Oil? The tractor has run Shell Rotealla 15w40 from Walmart and no issues. Figured keep running that. Thanks again
