Thanks to folks here giving me the courage and knowledge to tear into my dipper cylinder. Last year I noticed that the dipper on my BH was in a word.. gutless.. it would hardly move any dirt. I depended on my curl and boom to get anything done. When I removed the BH for the winter.. I had left the bucket up about 5' in the air while moving some support blocks around... I looked up from moving the blocks and I could watch the bucket drop!! It was dropping about 4" per minute!!
I have 355 hrs on the tractor, but this is a Kioti replacement cylinder with about 30 hrs on it!! I have new seals from Martin Fluid Power ready to go in... it will be a few weeks, after I fix up our dirt road from spring mud season, before I pull the rear blade off and put the BH back on to verify it is working properly. Based on how weak my loader is, and the fact it drops about 3" per hr... I think it will be time to pull them apart in the not to distant future.
I have a feeling I am going to be getting pretty good at this too soon.
