Default q\'s on Kioti

Been loking for a long time for a tractor. We bought an old IH H and took a real bath, long story, needless to say, don' t want to do that again!!

Been loking at new and used. It can sure be confusing, JD is made by Yanmar (sometimes), some people HATE Hardy, the sub compacts are priced like a Cadillac, etc. Kioti keeps coming up.

There is a Kioti dealer about an hour away with quite a few on site. Another "dealer" about twenty minutes away with older literature only.

Anyways, what would be a good price range for the LK 3054 and the DK 35? A bucket is a necessity. Snowblower and auger would be great. What experiences out there are there with these tractors?

Another (stupid) question, what does FEL stand for?

Where would I go for a review of these tractors?

I found a website for a dealer out of Ill. and he offered what seemed like incredible package prices. One dealer told my husband the specs on these tractors are different. Isn't a Kioti a Kioti? Is it true that warranty work is only done by the dealer that sells the eqipment?

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Hey Tabby,

Good questions: FEL means front end loader,CUT means compact utility tractor,bh means back hoe....etc......

I agree with you on the regional differences between tractors. Never heard that one before, unless it had a block heater added for northern locales. Now prices do vary between areas and dealers, you'll find. Can be different reasons such as,overhead costs, amount of competition, taxes, freight, market size,etc....

As for the warranty question. No you can take it to your nearest dealer for warranty work, but he might not be all too quick about getting it done.

Good luck in your hunt, and check out all the brands before you make your final choice. Spend as much seat time in each as you can!!

Just got a 35,40 hours, seems Ok, The 3054 was to tight for my fat belly, other wise I would have that one. I go back to a new 8N when I was 13 so I have been on a few. bcs

I'm assuming the dealer's website in IL is Little Tractor. James Little is a class guy and runs a good dealership. He is currently #1 in sales for Kioti nationwide.

Package tractors are identical to non package tractors in every respect. Dealers just add implements to make up the packages. So when looking at packages for a given tractor model, only the implements are different ie loader, mower, backhoe, etc.

Several dealers offer packages, you might also check out Ken Sweet and O'Bryan's web sites. Dealers will also quote you a custom package, if you don't see a package that is exactly what you want.

A quick check of Kioti's web site will tell you if a dealer is a current dealer. They also have a dealer search and a list of dealers with web sites. .html]Kioti Tractor

Hi tabby, Be sure to take all things into consideration. Shipping, does the dealer charge set-up etc. Alot of dealers not on the net will do packages, maybe not quite as low as the 'net dealers but good deals just the same. Go to your closest dealers tell them what you want and that you have done some shopping on the 'net and would like to see if they can come close. A dealer in your back yard, or an hour away is worth a good bit of money. If you figure in convenience, shipping and the fact that if you have a problem there is someone close that will jump when you say you are having a problem. The local dealer begins to look just as good as the 'net guys.

For the price a 3054 is hard to beat, for tops in comfort, easy on easy off, modern looks etc. The DK35 is the winner.
