"I went to Richmond today, I had a great 3hr drive in heavy traffic, and saw/test drove the new beast.Just to give a little background I have test driven the following- BX220, jd2210,,jd4110, ,jd4115,dk35, agco st125, BX7500 and out of all these the CK20 was quicker,but not too snappy( like the bx2200) and shifted smoother between high and low then all the others. It also is a very well put together machine, the design takes vibration into consideration with rubber washers and stops ,even though the vibration was minimal.The Bx2200 on the other hand had much more discernable vibration. The JD 2210 had allot less then all of them. Lack of vibration was a strong point with JD in general but they just don't look as tough for some reason. The turning radius surprised me, it was really tight but fluid, it didn't bog or jump when it got near it's limit like ALL of the others. There were a few things that I thought were exceptional. One was the ergonomics. everything was right at hand and yet you had room to turn around and move about.(there was no safety belt on this one so I can't review that) Another was the way whole driver area and the tractor in general looked like in would be easy to clean with a wet rag and not bust your fingers up. The light switches ,knobs, handles and the joy stick all moved and engaged very well, didn't seem cheap, they felt substantial,like they would last(unlike the Kabota's and the Agco and surely on Parr with the JD's).If that all were not outstanding enough all the filters and plugs etc for normal maintenance are very easily accessible that surprised me because leg compartment is basically closed in. The only things that I found that did not beam with quality was the exposed wires that go to the rear lights on the fenders and the lights on the rops they were really exposed. And also the seat itself could be nicer,maybe more springy and the adjustment left a little to be desired( JD had them beat in the seat) And also the ROPS was strange in the fact that the hinge was at the very bottom so that when closed it would go straight back. But looking at the brochure it looks like they raised it up some. As a matter of fact if you look at the brochue they show two different types. To sum it up, I was very impressed so much so that I'm buying one! Man it's good to get that over with!!!! I am thinking FEL,turf tires,60" 3pt mower not 100% sure about implements yet."
