I have a 2008 CK35 HST with 400 hours.
This has been a great machine, but recently it has been increasingly hard to start. Temperature is in the 30s at night and around 50 when trying to start. Turning the key and allowing the glow plug to cycle only turns the engine over with whitish grey smoke and the smell of diesel from the exhaust. There is the loud click of a solenoid engaging each time the key is turned to the preheat position.
I've used this unit a 0 degress F and it would crank the first time every time.
I have plenty of fuel, with cold weather additive and Lucas fuel additive. Battery is good key-switch is good fuses are good. No water in fuel, fuel and air filters are clean.
Any ideas??
