Thanks for update. I'll be interested to learn if you find any local repair capability or are forced to buy new IP from Kioti. One cheery note, the exact same IP costs about $500 more as a Kubota part (which makes me wonder if it's available for even less from someone else).
The only other advice I'd offer is to get and wear nitrile gloves when working on Diesel engines. Harbor Freight has them on sale for $4 for a box of 100. I find Diesel soot hard to get off your skin so the gloves make cleanup lots easier.
