How much does the wood splitter usually sell for? Is it well designed?g

Based on what the dealer hinted at, I think they retail for about $1000. Haven't had a lot of time to examine it and haven't run a block through it yet, but over all it does look well built. It's a Wallenstein attachment and I always thought the were a well respected company with good attachments.

Finally started to get some real snow in the forecast so I decided it was time to take the loader off and hook up the blower on the weekend. We had about 8" of heavy wet snow today and that gave the tractor a real workout, could only do about 50% on the forward pedal in low range otherwise the engine would start to lug down too much. Might have to go out again later tonight if it keeps snowing.
