Well, I have had my Kioti for 5 or 6 years now, and it has always been inside the garage. About a week or two ago I had to get my mustang out of storage (they soldthe storage building) and had to put it in my garage. Of course, the very next day itsnowed. I am currently looking out my window and can see it sitting there in the backyard, just looks wrong.

Now that I have told this very sad story, any suggestions for outside storage? NO, the mustang will not go outside. My garage was holding all my woodworking equipment, my tractor and all the various outdoor tools, mower, trimmer, tiller, snowblower, pressurewasher, etc etc, so there was no room for it and the mustang. Hopefully this is temporary and I can at least build a pavillion to park it under once the weather finally breaks.

Other than tarping it I can't think of anything else. I'm more concernedwith field mice than I am any cosmetic damage. THe tarp is mainly for me, so that I have someplace dry to sit.

One of the Sea-Can containers is the best and cheapest option for quick storage. Rain, rat, snow and almost burgular proof.

I bought a "temporary shelter" for my tractor until I can afford a pole barn:

If trap, don't trap to tight allow air movement.

I have an 07 version of what you have. Mine is outside about 70% of the time. For my personal comfort I put a large trash bag over the seat. For the tractor I went through every electrical connector, cleaned and coated with dielectric compound. Frozen moisture inside the joystick cables has been my only real issue. I have a small tear in joystick boot. If I know we have a big snow storm coming I will put a tarp over it. But that is mostly for my own convenience in clearing snow off. You should be OK.

If I put my little Yanmar outside.....it would cry and I would never hear the end of it. Tried putting the wife outside a few years back.......man....that was a mistake.....she was PO'd for a week!

One of these Canadian tire tarp garages would work great. Just anchor it well so it doesn't end up in your neighbors yard in a wind storm.

I really would hate to tarp my tractor. Even a tiny movement in a breeze would cause huge scratching and scuffing problems in a short time.

A week? That's all? If I tried that I'm sure I would be the one outside.:D

Well,
call me crazy but in our family, tractors go in at night no matter what! My vehicles will set outside. My uncle had a truck in his garage on the lift for several weeks and his tractor came to my barn to live till it could get back home. This happens all the time in the summer. Just have to remember where we leave um!, just a thought . . .John
