Maybe a dumb question but, Does Kioti use clear coat on their tractors? Long story short, 2 of my:chicken: chickens got loose inside the barn and got up on my tractor:fiery: and now there are light scratches all over the hood and the arms of the FEL. I have done nothing yet but before I buy an automotive polish I need to know what kind of finish I am going to be working on.

I can't help you with the finish on or tractor.....

But I do have a chicken taco recipe you may be interested in. :dance1:

try any that is clear coat friendly ( it should say so on the bottle )

start with a " polishing cream compound " easiest on the paint ....
if that doesn't touch them , , use a "rubbing compound " which is more aggressive .... then use the "polish" and finally a good wax ...

The paint on the tractor isn't base coat clear coat as on a car or truck. As mentioned by jaotguy, you can try a polishing cream compound but I think if the chickens were scratching for something as they do in grass and dirt, you may need true fine rubbing compound first.

or one of the "colored waxes" to help hide the scratches ....
