It's a possibility that I might have a lead on a used 2485 backhoe off a 2007 dk45. I'm concerned about the mounting hardware. Will the hoe mount right on my year old dk40?
Is the hoe totally self contained? Are there any brackets that I'll need? Neither machines have a cab, both HST.

I believe the DK40 and 45 only differed by the engine but those who own one can tell you for sure. Self contained...you just need a rear remote for hydraulic fluid. It doesn't have its own pto shaft driven pump. The brackets come with the bh when purchased and aren't part of the original tractor. I hope the person takes them off the DK45.

You are going to need 2 brackets that are bolted on the donor tractor. And yes it should ft.

On an exploded parts diagram I do see the two brackets. Front and mid. If this deal works out, I'll make sure to get them with the hoe. Thanks.
