What do I need for a 50 hour service on a DK45SE

My DK45SE is about to hit 50 hours and I need a parts list for the service. My deal said it would be $700 to do it or $500 for just the parts. That feels high to me.

Is there a list of things I need to buy? I'd like to avoid his markup.

Is this a gear model ?
Assuming your changing hydraulic fluid,
$150 or so in transmission fluid
$35 hydraulic filter.
$20-$30 engine oil
$10 oil filter
I'd be guessing closer to $220 area doing it yourself if changing the transmission fluid (gear drive machine).
Shouldn't need a fuel filter or air filter at 50 hours IMO.

For what it's worth, the 50 hour service is the most important one, IMO. My one tip would be to throw a big piece of cardboard under the tractor so you can slide in and out easily and stay clean.

The hydrostat filter is the real killer, at near $90. If HST. otherwise if gear you wont need that. Air filter can probably be cleaned. I use a vacuum cleaner from the outside. Fuel filter probably does not need changed.

You won't need the HST filter. Good news that is the expensive one. Be sure to cross check at the dealership as part numbers do change from time to time. The first air filter number the E number is the Kioti part number, but it IS a Donaldson. the rest are cross checks of other brands for that part number. I change them out once a year, but at 50 hours you should be good to just clean it. With a vacuum cleaner on the outside of the filter. Hold it up to the light and check all over for pin holes. if none put her back in service after cleaning all the dust out of the housing with a damp rag. Make sure the housing is very clean on the inside.

I was going to mention this, but didn't want to gloat, but I got my dealer to throw in all the filters I needed for the 50hr, including the HST. I am happy to be able to do it myself the first time and use the fluids I want.
