Just to add a bit of confusion ....

The keys for my 2014 CK35 are double cut like the one on the right, but the black plastic head is the rounded shape like the one on the left.

Yep. MIE told me they sent the current key for my order last year. Seems there was an ignition switch change as mentioned but we did not delve into the specifics. I paid for another two sets of keys and hopefully they are on their way. We identified them as double cut (Ford type) and single cut (GM type).

Normally when there are part revisions there is an A or B or some kind of notation/differentiation. Kioti has some errata identifiers in the parts manual I have for my DK45- but nothing for the keys. I have to wonder if this key change is just sitting in some stack of other Kioti parts manual changes waiting for the next revision- sometime. But with the new tier 4 tractors, odds are the previous manuals are not a concern.

BTW: I have yet to receive any email notifications to this post and just stumbled these responses while looking through other posts. For quite some time, I have only been receiving rare email notifications of post responses. Wonder what's up with that?

So I woke up this morning thinking- "Hey, I wonder if all of the TBN email notifies of post responses are in my Spam for some reason?" Yep, full of them for the last month or so and have never had this happen previously. About the time I started using a more secure version of my Internet browser. Guess it needs some training.

I received the keys from MIE today. Was quoted $9.xx per set of two and was charged $16.xx per set, plus shipping.

The part number in the parts manual is for the double cut key. The single cut key pair part number is T5515-75191.
