CK2510, anyone tried this grapple?

Looks like a decent unit, probably would need to replace the clevis pins on the cylinder with bolts if your planning to move brush, they would go missing real quick. I wish they would show the unit open to see what it looks like.

35" open and the upper jaws stand straight up. Thanks jabelding.

The only problem I'd have with the grapple is the weight. 450lbs cuts into your lift capability a bunch. I've been looking at the wicked grapple as advertised on here. It weighs 274lbs which is a hefty gain. I have a CK 27 so losing any lifting capacity is a prime concern to me.

I'm starting to re think this and am considering a thumb instead. The Thumb

Just consider the strength of the bucket metal with going with the thumb. I've bent the upper lip of the bucket messing with rocks bigger than I should've. But I went with the bucket grapple from MIE. It's more cost than the thumb but has its own work bar that mounts to the side plates of the bucket. So far I'm very impressed with the quality. uploadfromtaptalk1460833952657.jpguploadfromtaptalk1460833962529.jpg
