If you put your bucket 5' in the air how long should it take, normally, before it would contact the ground? What is an acceptable bleed down rate? Do tractor manufactures have a spec for this somewhere and when would warranty repair become an issue for it bleeding down too quickly?

I got no idea, but why would you park it with bucket 5 feet high ?
I don't get it...I always park my machines in the down position

My '14 NH's TL-110 bucket will drift from 2' high to the floor o'night in any weather, and has done so since new. I never notice any such thing when operating.

My '99 JD 5210 must have never had the OEM joystick used until I installed the Allied 495 FEL (2 1/4" cyls) in '14. It takes ~two weeks to 'drift' down from ~2' high. (tight tolerances are apparent in JD's OEM spools ;))

I wouldn't expect the same rate of 'drop' from any two tractors, or for it to matter unless it happens while working.

The bucket in my CK30 would drop 2ft overnight, my DK40 takes about twice as long. My neighbor has a 30 year old Case and I have seen the bucket stay in the same place for 4-5 weeks.

My Kioti has been raised a bit for 5 weeks now.

I honestly have never tried this. I always park with the bucket on the ground and the joystick "wobbled" to relieve any pressure.

I never tried it, but I'd be surprised if mine would stay up more that a day
Of course I never leave it up so its a non issue

I usually drop my CK30 FEL. I had it about head height for a few days recently and it hadn't moved but my wife walked into it so I had to move it.

I usually drop my bucket but there are times when you need to keep it up. MY LS has held for 4 weeks one time. My Kubota will leak down a bit overnight now, but when new it would hold without dropping for several days (longest I ever had it up). My brother in laws NH leaks down in a few hours.
It all depends on the quality of valves and cylinders used.

If it drops at all,, it will drop MUCH faster with a load in it,,, :confused2:
