My tractor (Kioti RX7320) has the hydraulic power shuttle transmission. When doing a lot of back-and-forth such as moving snow, I've been using the gas pedal to adjust rpm on the fly, reducing rpm to idle when switching from neutral to forward or reverse. What I'm wondering is, is this transmission designed to be shifted in and out of gear while running at higher RPM? Can I set the hand throttle to a higher rpm and leave it there while changing direction? Or are you supposed to always reduce RPM to idle before engaging forward or reverse?
