"not quite sure what the 'neutral' setting is"

Middle setting for the rear remote levers. They have a detent on them to hold them open if they are held open the 3PT will not rise. They are the 2 Grey levers right side of the seat.

bingo.

while i thought the setting was correct - it wasn't. it 'looked' llike it was @ the right setting, but i played with the settings and now it raises normally.

thanks convert (and everyone else).. i'm back to splitting wood!

i've got LOTS to learn.

neat thing is, i ran into this issue and had it resolved without leaving the cab! this forum is amazing.

Glad I could help. So how far are you from an access point and still getting connected.?

assume you mean to internet?

i live in a rural area, so the best high speed option is via satellite. once the signal is in the house, i run a wireless router that my laptop is able to access. in this case, i'm pretty close to the house (about 150 ft) so the wireless router has no problem.

it's an amazing setup - with today being a fine example: couldn't get in touch with the dealer, so posted a question to the forum; you (and others) provided immediate feedback, allowing me to get back to cutting wood for the winter (lost time @ this time of the year is a bad thing).

now, if i knew tractors like i knew technology, i'd never be in trouble.

thanks again for the help!
