Kioti LK 3054 sterring leak

I recently purchased a used 1997 LK 3054, with an loader. On my first day of use , It started leaking hydraulic fluid from around the dust seal around the sterring shaft, Also I can pull the sterring wheel up about 4 inches. I have ask several tractor dealers in my area, and know one knows what it could be. Also the closest Kioti dealer is over 50 miles away

Did you get a parts manual with the tractor, if so it should show how the steering column is attached to the steering box. Sounds like something let go that holds the column in place.
I wouldn't pull up on the column as you may pull it right out and cause even more damage. Hopefully none has been done so far other than maybe a seal.

Jim in Omaha had a post back in 6/24/04 on 3054 loose steering wheel (sorry don't know how to link the post, computers are not my stong point).
Seems the 3054 has a 2 piece steering shaft/with pin

No I did not get the book, If anyone has an owners manuel or a repair manuel I would be intrested to buy it from you.
