LK3054
Howdy all.
I hope everyone had a nice holiday. It has been a while since my last post, and once again I have a question. I purchased an LK3054 last year and I love it, I would however, like to add rear remotes, and/or draft controls. Has anyone attempted this on the 3054?

thanks Scott

I added a single set of rear remotes to my Lk2554. I assume that they are similar. I bought a kit from my Kioti dealer. They only offer a single set of remotes for my tractor. I then took the two lines that go to the quick disconnects and plumbed them into a dual selector mounted on the vertical ROP support bar behind the seat. This effectively gives me two sets of remotes. If I remember correctly the Kioti kit was about $350 and the dual selector from Surpluscenter.com was about $75 plus fittings and hoses and disconnects.
The Kioti kit is well designed and can be installed in a couple of hours. They only thing that was a problem was the QD's from Kioti. They are not a standard version and I couldn't find a supply of the mating plugs, so I converted all to a standard version.

I wonder why the Kioti QD's would be differant on the 2554 than they use on the DK 35 ?
I added Kioti rear remotes to my DK 35 and the Kioti QD's were the standard Pioneer style couplers ( same style as is used for the loader hookups) and I got all the mating fittings from Tractor Supply.

I passed along what my hydraulics dealer told me. Maybe
he just didn't have the correct mating pins. But, they
are a very well stocked hydraulics dealer and I was the one who suggested replacing them with a more common type.

I took some pictures of the setup I added to my LK2554. I also put in a couple of shots of the chute rotator I put together for my snow blower. I bought the single remote setup from Kioti. (they don't offer a double for my tractor) I piped the outputs that normally go to the Quick Disconnects to a selector valve and added 2 more QDs to give double remotes that I have to choose between with the selector lever. It works out to be a pretty good compromise.

This one is of the selector looking behind the seat where I located it. (seat is flipped up)

Scott,
I have a 3054 also. It now has around 140 hours. Fantastic tractor.

I added the Kioti remotes. The control valve mounts under the right side and the control knob/rod goes in that slot beside the 3pt lift control. There is no draft that I'm aware of for this. The parts are of the same quality as the rest of the tractor. The only problem I've had that I need to fix with the add on is that I have some leaks in the fittings of the valve body. I was told to get something like Locktite 567 or 569 (?) to seal it up with. If you get that kit do take the right fender off. Makes it 10 times easier to install and tighten the fittings on the valve body.

thx
Jim
