Kioti L2601

Hi all,

I am new to this forum, I just purchased a used grey market Kioti tractor it is a model L2601. By searching this board I found out that the US import model that corresponded to this one was a LB2614, which was superceded by the LK3054. Does anyone know where I can get an operators manual for this (probably not), Does anyone have any knowledge of the L2601 and know how close the LB2614 manual would be for my general use.
I was told by the guy who sold it to me that the 3 cylinder Diesel and the front end drive was the same a Kubota of some model that I don't recall at this time. Did Kubota use a Daedong engine? This is a 1992 model.

The only thing I can tell you for sure is that that model never used a Kubota engine of any type. There is not now, and never has been a connection between these two companies.
If you can find information on a foreign distributor of Kioti, you may be able to order a manual from them.
Try to find out where the tractor was originally meant to go. If it says Kioti and not Daedong, that should help you isolate where it should have gone. I believe the Kioti mark was only used in Europe and the US, but I can't remember for sure.

Near as I can figure it's a Daedong L2601 not sure where it was marketed as all the markings are in Korean I believe. It looks very simular to a LB3054, I was told that the same model was imported to the states as a Kioti LB2614 modified for US use. I will search around on the Web and maybe I can find an Australian Dealer that has Service/owners manuals for them, written in English. Any Aussie's on this Forum?

Hi As far as I can tell the L2601 is very very similar to the LK3054, I purchased the the user, parts and repair manual for the LK3054. There are some differences such as the Daedong L2601 has a 3 speed PTO (540, 756, 1000), and the LK3054 has an optional 2 Speed PTO (540, 1000). The 3 cylinder diesel engine is the same one and majority of the rest of the tractor is the same. It has been a very reliable tractor for me hope yours has as well.
