Default Connecting KB2365 Backhoe to Kioti LK3054?

Hi tractor friends. My new LK3054 with FEL and BH arrived. Bill from Sawnee Equipment showed me how the FEL and BH worked. Before he left I had him disconnect the KB2365 BH, so I could bushhog. Bushhogging done, I wanted to hook up the BH. I read the Kioti KB2365 "Users Manual, printed in Korea, Nov 2004." Broken English, not much I can get out of it about how to connect the BH to the LK3054.

I am hoping some experienced LK3054 - BH2365 users can guide me through the basic steps. I know how to back the tractor to the BH, connect the hoses, and raise the frame. What's next? For example, does the front of the BH go on first? Thanks for any help you can give me.

It sounds like you have the basic steps pretty well sorted out. With regard to whether the front or rear attachment goes first, I can only say that with the CK20, I need to focus on the rear and I think there is more "play" in the rear than in the front so you can get the rear subframe into the mount (barely) while the front is still free. I use the hydraulics to get the rear up and in to the slot then I check to make sure the front is basically lined up (not too high or low). At that point I inch forward until I can put the pins into the rear slots to secure the BH onto the subframe. There are some simple guide tabs that will guide the front of the subframe onto it's attachment point if you are reasonably closely aligned.

Only problem I had the first time I did this was to focus too much on the front...I had the front hooked up properly but the rear subframe mount was under, not in the slot even though the pin holes were lined up so I could put the retainer pins in place. Luckily I recognized this before driving off.

Default Re: Connecting KB2365 Backhoe to Kioti LK3054?

I have an LK2554 with backhoe. The steps for me
are backup over the bh frame so its centered and far enough back so the cross bar on the bh frame can still clear the pocket that it will slide into on the back of the tractor mounted frame. Raise the bh with the stabilizers and adjust with the boom to keep level to a height that positions the cross bar on the bh frame in line with the pocket on the tractor frame.

Then align the height of the front "open mouth" part of the bh frame to the front of the tractor frame that they will grab onto. slowly roll or drive the tractor backwards toward the bh untill the cross bar slips into the pocket. (this will happen first). Most likely the open mouth brackets on the front of the bh frame won't be aligned with the tractor frame exactly so you will need to readjust using the boom and stabilizers.
readjust an back up so the mouth brackets grab the tractor frame. Apply the break and drop in the two locking pins in the back frame pocket to hold the cross bar in.

Ps During the adjusting process, you need an equal amount of stabilizers and boom for things to slide in easily. It takes some practice.
