Default CK20 and post hole diggers

I am thinking of getting another Kioti...this time a CK20HST.
I am concerned about the tractor being tall enough to run
a PHD with standard 42" PTO auger. A quick search reveals
that some TBN members have PHDs for their CK20s. Are
they shorter augers? I want to use a Worksaver model 500
and it does not have much clearance with my CK30, which
is taller.

I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but you can change the setting of the hitch arms by moving the rods out to the outermost hole. That would give you some more clearance. On my CK20 there are two holes in the arms for this. I don't remember if the 30 is the same.
I don't have a PHD, sorry I can't answer.

I have a Worksaver PHD for my CK20...there's a fine line between being able to lift it up enough for transport and being able to dig down deep enough...I had to make some mods to mine to get it to work, and in the up position, its only about and inch off the ground at the bottom of the auger. I usually tie the auger back up to the arm with a piece of twine if I have to transport a good distance, otherwise I just let the auger drag.

Thx for the response. I notice that the Worksaver 300
is made for low profile tractors and comes with 30" augers.
Is yours the Model 300 or the Model 500? I guess you
could use the 30" augers with the Model 500 if you did not
want to drag on the ground in the highest setting..... Both
models use 2" output shafts.

My photo shows the Model 500 on a CK30. I guess that AG
tires will give better ground clearance, too.

I posted a photo of the Model 500 with a 42" auger. Not
a ton of ground clearance. Does that look like yours? Do
you have the shorty (30") auger?

Killer buy at $75, BTW.
