Default Shifting Problems?

Hello,

Got a new CK 20 HST with 10 hours on it and noticed that, quite frequently, the Hi-Low Shifter will not shift into low gear from neutral. When this occurs, I have to shift into high, move the tractor slightly and then can shift into low. I have also noticed the same condition, at times, when shifting into high from neutral, but I use low for most jobs. When it won't shift into one mode (high or low) it will always shift into another.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Similar thing happened with my CK30HST. Just new I guess, it's much better now at 43 hours.

Aside from the forward and back, I noticed that raising or lowering the FEL helped it shift!

There have been a number of posts about this. Try searching for them. I think the general fix was simply to lubricate the mechanisms.
