Default Status of the factory-authorized loader tube fix?

I'd like to return my machine to the dealer to repair some previous problems fairly soon, before the fall/winter rush. But I have to pay for hauling each time. Is the cross-tube reinforcement procedure out to dealers yet? I don't trust mine much after the last hack job, but all four corners are cracked, and I'm worried about some heavy loader work coming up.

Thanks-

Chelydra

I almost started the same post last week but instead I called Kioti customer service. A very polite woman restated the obvious, that they were still working on the fix, and that the dealers would be notified as soon as they were ready. I accepted that as semi reasonable but did point out that Highbeam reported his problem back in February I think and that there had been almost two months since the official Kioti acknowledgement of the problem. I suppose two months is not a long time to get a fix underway but that was really just their public announcement. They had obviously been aware of the problem and working on a solution for some time before then as Becky had indicated about two months ago that there were Kioti engineers in her shop fixing ?Bearhawks tractor with a prototype. (Maybe they were just talking about the prototype, I forget). In any case, it would be appropriate for Kioti to send the dealers a little update. I know my dealer had heard nothing since the original announcement as of a couple weeks ago.

The engineers did look at my tractor, but they were there for other things as well.

I did see a picture of the proposed fix. It has been discussed before. Bringing it up again will only feed the Kioti bashers.

My loader has been repaired by Dick. If you want to see what it looks like, just go look at a brand new loader. You couldn't tell the difference. Except mine has a bunch of soot.

A good dealer is as important as the tractor itself.

As bearhawk said, we don't need any bashers. There is a problem with the loader as any other manufacture of tractors might have or even auto manufactures for that matter. That's why there are recalls. Kioti is working on the problem. Maybe to some it's an easy fix. Considering how many loaders are probably out there, Kioti wants to get the fix right the first time. I can wait for the proper fix and have it done only once.
