Default Checking waterfilled tire pressures

How do you check the tire pressure in a water filled tire and get an accurate reading? I seem to have a low tire but can't get an accurate reading with the tire in the 12 or 6 o'clock position.

I have a low preasure hydraulic gauge I use that I installed a tire chuck on to check water and anti-freeze filled tires with. You could make a cheap one by going to the hardware store and getting a water preasure gauge ment for water tanks and screwing a tire chuck onto it. Just make sure the gauge is rated for more preasure than the tire will have in it.

I've ruined a couple of pressure gauges with my CaCl filled tires. Now I just set the compressor regulator, rotate the wheel until the stem is a 12 oclock and see if it takes any air.

I like the idea checking with the liquid type gauge.
I have a ck25 with industrial tires and had the tires filled with the environmentally safe material when new. I have been wondering if anyone knows about how much weight the fluid adds to this tire? I know it's about
8 lbs a gallon, but ? the gallons.
Thanks

For Calcuim filled tires when you get the preasure gauge just make sure it's a totaly stainless steel gauge made for corrosive liquids. Problem solved.
