I don't know what their sales numbers are but they always have what I would think was a very large number of tractors on the lot. I can't see where the type of web site has anything to do with the size of the dealership.

Well, yes and no. Any company with a desire to compete had better get with the program. The figures show that it is the way most of us do business anymore, I do almost exclusively. I have never heard of the one in Arkansas but plenty from all over the rest of the U.S. Be it Carvers, Deans, Messick etc. Having large inventories is one thing, moving them is another. My local small Kubota dealer had a very large inventory, had being the key word. He sells most Kubota products so fast theres always asphalt. When he goes to the Kubota conventions and places his order, he is always at the top of orders. He doesn't say he wants 3 Kubota B26's, he says, give me everyone you can. He also competes with at least 4 or 5 other dealers in the area so prices have to be competitive. You will not get sales figures for Kubota dealerships. It is also very rare for a dealership to survive on one brand or type.

Like I said, I don't know what their sales numbers are. They usually have somewhere between 50-70 tractors on the two lots and they never appear to be old. This dealer has been in business at least since the 1970s. They got rid of their Deere dealership at both locations.

Just a quick comment folks. I would think that Carver in NC sells FAR more Kubotas than these guys do.

Yeah Jerry, my local dealer had his Deere dealership taken away. I guess Deere did not want their products on the same lot as Kubota. He is now just a one tractor dealer but did pick up and track steer line as well as tons of implement lines.

The "largest" changes all the time. There are 30-40 or so large Kubota dealers who jockey for the top spot all the time. The largest multi-store dealer is in Texas, they have like 20 locations or somthing crazy.
