They all keep disappearing. If this keeps up I may have to go elsewhere for my tractor fix!

The thread was removed at the request of the original poster. Kubota Corporation did not make any request of TBN with regard to that post or any other post.

Let's let this topic drop. It will not lead anywhere.

Hakim, this sentence was all you needed to say. For the members to wonder what happened to the thread was totally legitimate.

This part was uncalled for and unnecessary. Your tone makes it sound as though the other posters have done something inappropriate. There is no need for you to be rude.

I can accept that the original thread on 2008 Kubotas was dropped at the request of the original poster.

What I don't understand is why other threads questioning the removal of the original thread have been deleted - seemingly without explanation.

I did not sense any rudeness in his post. He made a request since there have been multiple post about this subject and it has been answered many times with users getting upset about it. It needs to be dropped.

I didn't see any posting violations. What other reason could it be?

That's your impression and interpretation of what Hakim wrote. Hakim made a suggestion to drop the discussion because it won't lead anywhere. If it makes you feel better, keep debating.

From some of the post I saw, it appeared a lot of people were upset with Kubota because of it and were making comments about Kubota that were uncalled for.

Plain and simple, Kubota informs their dealers ahead of the release so the dealers know what is going on in advance of the public release. However, the OEM's don't want their dealers telling everyone about things before the public release of the new models. They do this to keep their dealers well informed and that in turn helps the buyers once the model is released. People need to be respectful to the OEM's because of this and there were some that were not.

CNH, JD, Buhler and Agco all have the same strategy so this isn't anything new.
