I haven't been able to try the flail on lawn grass yet, but my intent was to use as replacement for a finish mower and a rotary cutter (bush hog). Here is a good (and very long) thread that discusses flail mowers if you have an interest. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/a...ml#post1407058 Dave

That's a beauty and you didn't mess around when you decided to get some implements. Good Luck.

My final item on order arrived this week -- Woods BH90x backhoe. I'm posting a couple pics.

That is an awesome setup! I just took delivery of my 5740HSTC this past Tuesday. I spent Friday night and Saturday mowing my 24 acres with my Woods PRD8400. What a tractor!
I wish I had the hooks on the bucket. Did you add them? Was it a dealer installed item? Which bucket do you have, it look like the HD round back. Post how you like the backhoe when you get a few hours behind it. I will be very interested to see how it works for you. What kind of price did you pay for the box blade and tiller? I felt I was treated real fair on the tractor, but they don't carry Woods brand. Thanks in advance for the reply. blackhawkip |

The dealer added three hooks to my FEL and pallet forks for no extra charge. The bucket is a Heavy Duty 72" round back quick attach model #L2286.
Only used the backhoe a couple times to dig out two stumps and it works good so far, although I don't have more than an hour in on it so far. Box blade was $1,000 and tiller was $3,150. Enjoy your new tractor! Dave Quote:
