New to tractors. Given price of $17,000 on 1993 B2150 Kubota
4WD loader/backhoe combo. 249hrs. Ag-Tires. Machine in like new condition. To much or in the right price range? Thanks in advance...

I paid $8000 for my B2150DT (gear tanny, 635 hrs) with LA350 FEL and Farm King finish mower. The original asking price was $10,000. I bought it from a private seller. It does have low hrs and a hoe. A used Kubota hoe goes for around $2-$3K. You make the call.

That is an impossibly low price in my area. The local dealers are asking $16,5K for a 4WD 1984 B8200 FEL/ Kelley BH & 580hrs. Although I did manage to talk him down to $14.5K. before I decided to pass on the machine. Using that as a base line I thought $17K wasn't out of line for B2150 w/Kubota BH.

Matt,

I would think that a "good" used backhoe would cost more than $2K-$3K (more like $3K-$4K, but I haven't priced any recently).

I remember pricing a new B2150 w/FEL in 1998 for around $15,500. I'd guess that the B2150HSD/FEL/BH combo would've been around $21K new, so that $17,000 for a very good used one would seem reasonable (but not a steal).

Note that I am assuming that the B2150 is hydrostatic, and not gear drive.

For comparisons with today's Kubota line-ups, the B2150 would be between the B2410 and the B2710. Get a quote on both of them with FEL/BH and see how it compares with your $17,000 quote for a used unit. Compared to the B2150, the newer tractors are quieter and have the flat deck.

B2400/B2410: 24 hp / 3-cylinder / 2 range HST
B2150: 24hp / 4-cylinder / 3-range HST
B2710: 27hp / 4-cylinder / 3 range HST

Matt,

$17K for a 93 is high with a FEL and hoe with 249 hrs tho lots of good time left in it. I think a price around $14-15k is more in line.

Matt, I purchased a 2000 NH 1920 with FEL & BH with 72 hours for $17000. Hope this helps.

The tractor is hydrostatic w/power steering.
The way they priced it out was 13.9K for the tractor and 4.1K
for the BH.
