Foam fills the tires with foam - you can get it from professional tire places, though my dealer (Messicks) handled it for me. Costs a fair bit, but makes the tires puncture proof, and adds the most weight. Make sure to get the "soft" foam if you go that way.

Rim guard is a lot cheaper, gives you most of the weight, but no puncture proofing. Probably the way to go for most - I'm in the woods with poor access to tire repair, so I went lifetime.

Neat stuff - ATI Preseeder, Hydraulic PHD, Wallenstein BX62r Chipper, Millonzi Grapple, CA 4n1 Bucket. Delta Hook Rear QA system.
Too many other random attachments to list (or to own, per my gf) and a really bad tool addiction. But at least I haven't bought a dump truck or bulldozer. Yet.

Your foam filled tires caught my eye...Living with quite a few (too many) hawthorn trees has caused me many a run to get tires fixed or green slime filled...I'm running a BX23 so my tires are a bit smaller, but could you share what the cost was to fill 4 of your tires? Will give me something to work off of when I shop around to get it done. Thanks!

I found a local tire company that foam fills tires, but have not gotten a price yet. If you ever replace the tires , do you have to replace rims as well?

Going rate is $1.25 per pound of foam. I'd figure $350-400 for a set of 4 BX tires.

Good question on the rims - I'd imagine you could chisel the foam off the rims, but thats 20 odd years down the road for me, so I'm not worrying about it.
