New M 59 here

So Far so good. Put several ours of seat time today. I did have a problem trying to remove the backhoe though. Did everything the manuel said to do but could not get the pins to budge. I have had two kubotas with backhoes but have never experienced this much trouble. Any suggestions? Did I say I loved the M 59. Kubota really out did themselves on this one.

Kubota said they did not have a problem with the backhoe not coming off, but I've still not been able to get the pins loose. after several hrs of raising and lowering the boom. Hope to get it fixed soon. Any suggestions?

no, but now I've got a worry! Usually when that happened for me with my woods bh it was because I had too much stress on pins - moving boom wouldn't fix it, but stabilizers did - have you tried them?

Yes, I have tried the stabilizers as well. I had a bradco 509 but never had this much trouble. I really needed to do alot of work with the box blade. Kubota was suppose to call me back today at 12:00 but has not yet, so I will try them tommorrow and up date you.

If the M59 is anything like my L39, the secret is to use the backhoe to raise the rear wheels of the tractor off the ground a little. Not the stabilizers, but the hoe itself. That's what it says to do in my manual, but it isn't emphasized enough. Once I got both rear wheels off the ground, the pins came out easily w/o tools. One other thought is that the pins come out a lot easier after a few hours of backhoe work. Wears the paint and burrs off the pins and bushings.

Now, if I could just get the 3-pt hitch control to loosen up a bit; it's too stiff and jerky to allow smooth adjustment of the box scraper height.

Congratulations on your new tractor! I love the L39, and the M59 is even nicer.

Thanks, I love the Tractor. I got a tandem 25ft PJ trailer stuck in a ditch going up a huge drive way hill, truck couldnt budget in 4 wheel drive so I hooked up the M59 and pulled truck and all up the hill. Kubota techs are suppose to come by Monday. I have put around 6 of the 8 hrs I have on it trying to get the backhoe off. They said were they are making them and sending them off so quick sometimes the paint may not be dried in the sleeve. Hope to get it off soon.

That would be wise. They said not all them are getting stuck, but I would be on the safe side and let the dealer take it off once.

Kubota came today to try to get the backhoe off my M59. Could not get it off so they loaded it up and took it back to see what the problem is. It appears some one from the factory had beat the left side pin in. When I get it back I will uppdate to what the problem was.
