Default Pics of the new MX5100!

Continuing the tradition here, I thought I'd share some pictures of my recent purchase, an MX5100. Having never owned or sat on a tractor before, I was a bit intimidated when it was delivered and they said hop on. Minutes later, though, I'm digging, leveling, and having fun. Smiles all around.

Tractor came with 2wd, 844 loader, bale spear, rear work lights, taller tires, block heater, etc. Simple machine. I have to admit that although many told me to get 4wd, I'm glad I didn't. Even when my rear tires were buried 1.5ft into the mud, I was able to get out. Only had to get the truck out once and that was before I built my ballast barrel.

Here it is still "new".

And then to put it to real work. Even though it's in the mud, I cleaned it up for the pics

That's a nice looking rig. It looks like you're in a nice area too.

Is your loader tweaked a little bit high on the right side, or is that just camera shenanigans?

The left front tire is just sitting in a rut in the last pic, and in the first few the ground/camera isn't level. But the loader is level

Good looking tractor and place Negligence. It seems though that you do need that tractor for more then just playing.

Very nice, Negligence. That tractor should work great for you.

You've got all the barn, horses and all and never sat on a tractor before? How'd you manage?

Your place is nice and green. That looks like a Canadian skyline. Are you in Canada?

Yep, we are in Ontario.

We've had the property and horses (some ours, some boarded) for about a year now. We were tired of tossing out small square bales everyday, and getting screwed last year by the untimely harvesting of hay was the big deciding factor. So the tractor is here to move the round bales, and I bought some implements to do small squares myself.

This is the best tool I've ever bought!
