I'm new to buying Kubota tractors. There is a 2002 Kubota B7500 for sale in my area. It has a LA302 loader and Woods BH6500 backhoe w/ sub-frame. R4 tires. It has 115hrs on it. Wondering if $14500 is a good deal for this tractor. The pictures of it shows that it is in great shape. Any help would be appreciated. THanks

The new equivalant Kubota B2320 with the new Kubota BH65 would cost about 4K more. I guess it would depend on how much you want / need the backhoe since you could buy more tractor new without one for the same price.

Dorgain ,
Just so you are aware , the seller of that tractor is a backyard tractor dealer. Personally, i'd say he is a little high, as most of what he sells is....... afterall, he needs to get more from you than he paid the person he bought it from. I'd offer him $12,500. |

My wife and I do a lot of gardening and stone wall building, so the backhoe will work very well for us. Knowing this, is $14500 a good price for the tractor/backhoe package?

I have to agree with Ductape's price. $12,500 would seem to be better, especially if you are going to finance any of it. I agree that the backhoe will be very handy for the kind of work you are contemplating!

I wish i could recall what the previous owner sold it for (if i'm not mistaken, it was on Ebay). Again, i'd stick to 12,500. Be patient, there are plenty of fair deals coming as the economy heads further south. The tractor looks pretty good, aside from a little faded paint...... i just think he is a bit high on his price.

The B7500 is a great machine. My dealer sold a bunch of them and never had them come back with serious problems. I ran one i purchased new in 2000 for 5 years, 700 hours of commercial use, never had a serious failure!
