I was at our local county fair yesterday and several tractor dealers were there. The Kubota/New Holland dealer had "fair special price tags" hanging on the tractors. The M7040 with loader, 4wd, R4 tires, cab, hyd shuttle was on sale for $34,999. I asked the salesman if it had hyd self leveling (which is very attractive to me since I use forks alot) and he didn't know. I thought that it came standard with a wet clutch, but to make sure I asked and he didn't know that either and shrugged his shoulders.
They also had a New Holland TN90 with loader, cab, 4wd, R1 tires on sale for $41,999. I plan on waiting until next spring to pull the trigger on a new on so I had to go home and take a cold shower. |

Next spring all the steel prices will have gone up. I am ordering now M5040 R-1's. Do what you have to.

If it's what you want, grab it. That's a good price. If it has the hydraulic shuttle, it has the wet (hydraulic) clutch. If you wait, you may kick yourself later.
