I am thinking of getting a new Kubota tractor but before I can do that I need to sell my BX 1800. I'd appreciate some input with regards to what it's curent value is to help me price it. I bought it new in 2004. It has a front end loader and 54 inch mid mount mower. It has been well maintained and stored indoors. The only signs of wear are on the FEL. Any ideas on a price range I should expect to sell it for? Thanks!

I live pretty close to you and I just got a 2004 Bx1500 with FEL and 54" mower deck, from one of my local Kubota dealers.....it had 342 hours on the clock and the machine looked like it had barely been used. I paid $9000 for it and it was the cheapest one I could find. The next closest one was a very well used bx1500 without the FEL for $10500.

Maybe this will give you some idea where to start the pricing??

Thanks Bramel. Was $9000 with both taxes in or were the taxes extra? I had roughly figured mine would be worth around that price given that the BXs aren't as cheap up here as in the US.

By the new Kubota and keep the BX1800. It will come in handy.
I bought 2 BX1500s and kept the BX23.
They all 3 work great together as a team.

1*The next closest bx1500 without the FEL for $10500.
1* $4525 Bx1500
--- $5975 MMM [Pretty expensive used mower considering a new 48'' is $1450 and a 54'' is $1650 new.]
Total price.$10500.
======================

I recently bought 2 BX1500 tractors with mowers.
$6300 new BX1500
$1450 used 48''MMM
Total paid $7750.Could have gotten it with a 54'' MMM for $7950.
-----------------
$4525 used BX1500
$725 used 48'' MMM
Total paid $5250.

I'd say tax was added to the 9000 since he bought it from a dealer .
Had he purchased it from a private party no tax would have been added to the 9000.

I'd really like to do that but my garage is too packed with stuff to fit another tractor in and I don't like to leave anything outside to be eaten by the weather. As well my pocket does have a bottom!!!
