Ordered a new BX1860 today

Haven't had a sunny day yet when I was at home, but I snapped a couple more pics the other morning....hopefully we'll get some sunshine this weekend and I can get some better photos.

I bought a BX 1850 in March last year. My only compaint is the hard stop out of reverse. I heard about the 60 series and e-mailed Kubota and talked to my dealer.
A week later Kubota e-mailed me back saying there was a fix and my dealer would fix it. I called my dealer and he said Kubota had called them about my e-mail. They are going to a class in a couple of weeks and learing this "fix". THEN the area rep. called my cell phone and told me they were doing it also. He said it would be just like the 60 series. I told them to fix it or make it right.
I will let you know. Should be done by March, I hope.

You should start new post with this. It will get noticed better. There are alot of people on this site that have this same complaint and will be very intrested in how your tractor gets "fixed".

Kenneth - Please, please, please keep us updated on this!! If you have any name for the program or Technical Bulletin number, ANYTHING. If you couldn't tell, I'm very anxious to get mine fixed as well.

Do you have the mulching kit on your 48" fine-cut? If so, how are the results?

I do have the mulch kit, but have not installed it yet. I just got the mower deck a month or so ago and only mounted it to take some measurements for a full contact rear roller/lawn striper that I am planning to fab up. It'll be a couple more months before I get to mow with it. Probably have to move more snow first.

I'll post my mowing results this spring.

Is the 1860 a smaller tractor than the 2350 or just a smaller engine
