Does anyone have any pictures handy of the "factory" remote rear hydraulics? I'm wondering how the valve (I want 3 axis valving) mounts with the dealer installed package, and how the hoses route. My dealer wants an arm and a leg for these, Surplus Center has the 3 spool valve for a fraction of what Kubota wants for one. There must be something really special about the way they do it! I wouldn't mind this as a do-it-yourself project, but don't want to "red neck engineer" on a new tractor, especially if the factory setup is really cleanly done.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have photos, but if you want clean and neat, you want the factory valves. I wrench on New Holland tractors for a living, but have installed remotes on a couple of Kubota L series. The kits come with instructions that are easily understood, and the work is straightforward at least on tractors without cabs.

You just spent big bucks on a new ride, don't bastardize it by cheaping out on the accessory package. Buy the valves and completing kits, and get busy. Or grin and bear it and have the dealer do it.

I don't own a Kubota since I traded my 2005 B7510HST last March for a Mahindra 5525.

Need a larger tractor for haying on my 10 acres.

Had the dealer install triple remotes on the 5525.

The triple valve is made by Dinoil. Surplus Center has equivalents. The input of the Dinoil is connected to the power beyond port on the FEL control valve. The output of the Dinoil goes to the tank.

Your 3240 doesn't have the nice flat-top fenders so you'll need to fabricate a compatible bracket for your triple valve.

I've got rear emotes on my L4400 and for this model apparently only the factory kit will fit. At least that's what my research showed and is what I was told by several dealers.

In any case, it is very neat and very much out of the way...looks factory. I think it was around $650 bucks (installed) which is absolutely nuts, but I agree, if the only other option is going to look sloppy and potentially cumbersome, its probably worth getting the factory kit.

Was the $650 for the 3-spool kit? That's not bad if it makes for a clean setup. The verbal price I had from my dealer was $900 per axis!!! I'll have him check that. If it was $600-800 for the factory setup and it is a nice, clean package, that's not bad. I want to say the 3-spool valve from SC is $250 or so, by the time I do the fabrication, chase fittings down and buy hoses,it wouldn't be too far from that. I'd be happy to pay in that range...but not any $2700!

Flusher, a setup like yours is pretty much what I had in mind to fabricate. Are the supply and tank lines routed under the fender?

Thanks.

Bri,
That is the base unit, once you get that far, you just stack valves and outlets to the first valve and outlet. Hope that makes sense.

BTW: price for this dealer-installed feature was $750.

The $650 was for only 1 set of rear remotes.

That's the price quoted to me 3 years ago by the dealer who sold me my 2005 Kubota B7510HST. Thought it was pricey.
