Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum but not new to forums;). I'm in the market to buy a Kubota and have a chance to buy a 1994. Here is the description....

1994 4-wd Kubota model HST B1750 with only 400 HOURS! Always garaged in heated bay. Comes with Kubota Snow Blow, 60" mowing deck and collection system. Also has a heated cab. In excellent condition. A new one cost $21,000. Asking $8,000.

The picture shown with this listing looks immaculate. You think it's worth $8,000? Thanks for all your help

Regards

John

Seems like fair price.
Just traded my 1995 B7100HST w/frontend loader w/910 on the meter in darn good shape for $6.100.oo,the biggest down fall unit didn't have power steering.

Take the tractor for little spin than go w/your gut feelings.

Welcome to TBN. :)

I had a B1550 hydro for a little over 20 years before I traded it for a cabbed B3030. The 1550 is almost identical to the 1750 but has less hp and does not have the cruise control. It was without a doubt the best tractor I ever had. Very tough. I did not have the snow blower but did have the mowing deck and grass catcher. Great system. I highly recommend this tractor if it is as good as you say. Price seems good too! Let us know what you decide. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum first off. Regarding the cost, it sounds good to me, but like threads below, try it and then go with the old gut feeling.:)

I'm not real familiar with the differences between the B1750, and the B7100, I know that they are similar size and power (the B7100 is 16HP). For comparison purposes, here is what I got last summer for $6500.

1998 B7100HST w/ 455 hrs.
Woods DuAl 145 Front End Loader
Kubota 60" Mid-mount mower
Meteor 50" Snow Blower

It came with R1 tires and wheels. I wanted turfs. It cost me about $350 for a pair of new rears that were pulled from a new tractor being converted to R4's, and a total of about $180 to convert the fronts over.

So, take tires into consideration, as my total cost was about $7100, still very good for what I got.

I'm not mowing with mine, so the collection system doesn't really matter to me, but if that is something you'll use, then it does.

If the price includes a front end loader, then it is decent, if not, I would wait for one that has a front end loader. The front end loader is the most useful piece of equipment on these small tractors. You'll be amazed how much you use it. I'm adding a pin-on pallet fork (goes on in place of the bucket -- much better than bucket forks) to make it even more useful.

Good luck in your search,
Jay

If there is one thing I wish my B7100 had, that would be power steering.
FEL work w/o powersteering is my upper body workout.

I agree 100% about power steering.
